Semi-automatic doffing system with a pneumatic take-up spindle

This system offers significant benefits for your operators:
• Easy and fast bobbin changes
• No need for a handle on the take-up spindle

Here is how the system works when changing a bobbin

Operators no longer need to tighten the bobbin by hand, reducing effort and minimizing the risk of Repetitive Strain Injury.

The system includes a hydraulic accumulator and a manually operated one-way valve.

While the machine is running, the accumulator is pressurized. When the machine stops, the bobbin is removed, preferably from a pneumatic spindle, further reducing the need for tools. The yarn end is then fixed to the spindle and the valve is opened. The hydraulic pressure rotates the spindle and tightens the yarn while the operator releases the bail brake, allowing the cross-laying unit to move towards the spindle.

Finally, the valve is closed, and the machine is ready to restart.
