The Robco Tornado twisting machines are known for their long lifespan and high reliability. We know for a fact that many Robco Tornados – more than thirty years old – are still producing at full speed globally.
But even the most robust and durable machines may eventually need maintenance or repair. Many hours of production will obviously lead to wear of the Robco Tornados and will in time affect the productivity and the performance.
We are pleased to offer you the possibility to ship your old Robco Tornado to us for a repair or a complete overhaul.
If your old Tornado has any known defects, we can offer you to have the Tornado sent to us, and we will take care of the repair. In most cases, a repair in our workshop is faster and lower priced than a visit by one of our service engineers.
We have all necessary parts on stock and trained personal and special tools available.
Inhouse repair
Repair job includes:
• Transportation to Robco Engineering
• Cleaning of machine
• Replacement of main bearings
• Check and repair of cross-laying unit
• Change of flyers
• Check and repair of hydraulic system
• Check and repair of cradle
• Test-run
• Packing
• Transportation to customer
Complete overhaul
A complete overhaul can include:
• Cleaning of machine (if not done by you)
• Complete examination and functional test of the Tornado
• Complete overhaul offer sent to you, after we have examined the machine
• Repainting of the frame, if required
• Total upgrade of the electrical system.
• Mechanical overhaul
• Test run of the machine
• Overhaul report
• Shipment back to you, if required
